Thank you for considering attendance of Appreciate Your Services first fund raising event. I wanted this to be fun, casual but nice, and a good value for a good cause!
So welcome to Cars & Cocktails supporting Appreciate Your Service, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit helping active and retired military personnel and first responders with their automotive transportation needs.
This summer ending must attend event will be awesome! We have a lot in store for you including:
- Keynote guest speaker – Hillsborough County Sheriff, Chad Chronister.
- A performance by celebrated country singer/songwriter Bryon Edwards.
- Special guest vocal appearance by Tina Pepin!
- Expected to be on display are some of the hottest new vehicles from Lincoln, Ford, Porsche, Audi, BMW, Cadillac, and more.
- Nice selection of Hors d’oeuvres will be provided, along with beer and wine.
- Celebrate the evening with a “Hero” our featured craft cocktail!

What a special line up for this event. We hope that you will be able to come celebrate with us and be a part of helping our local heroes!
What we know in the real world…
Our veterans, active military, and first responders are key to a vibrant community, and that many of them are in need of financial assistance. Great organizations like Wounded Warriors and T2T help with homes, and AYS wants to help our local heroes with what is usually their second largest expense which is there vehicles.
The cost of vehicles new and used has increased dramatically in the last decade, forcing many to not be able to afford safe and dependable transportation, adding additional stress to their lives.
But the main reason why you should attend?
To help our local community heroes! At the event we are planning on giving away our first quality used car to a qualified beneficiary in need! This will be very exciting and we hope to have them drive away with their vehicle with a free and clear title that evening!
AYS will also be making a special announcement on the focus of the organization to continue to provide quality used vehicles to those in need.
After researching some options for this service it was discovered that most vehicle donation companies are out of state and organizations just sign up to their program like an affiliate and they only get only a portion of the value of the vehicle.
This was upsetting to me and why AYS plans on changing that!
We will do a local car donation program where the donation is from here, the vehicles stay here, the proceeds stay here, and the beneficiaries are heroes right here in the Tampa Bay area!
And we will need your help…

Tickets are only $50/per person (1/2 for costs and 1/2 for charity). Event tickets, auction items, and donations are considered tax deductible and receipts will be provided.
Attire is beach formal, think as if you are going to a nice event on a beach. Khakis, linen or Tommy Bahama polos, and beautiful sun dresses will fill the room.
